Whew! It's one heck of a rat race. This past week has been a blur, with me running around places, not getting proper sleep, and not having even the time to just sit and breathe. I'm so caught up with the things that I have to do that my office rituals (such as blogging and emailing) have been foresaken (hehehe). My body is too busy that my mind has not enough energy to think and overanalyze stuff.Well, that's a good thing about it. Being mentally and physically busy left me so little time to make all my ka-dramahan in life. But mind you, regardless how busy I was, I was able to squeeze in a little time to make my usual drama...where drama equals whining. Whining about, oh I don't know, everything that I can whine about. (Wawang Titus). Oh well, I know it's a bad habit that needs to be stopped.

Anyways, just a run-through of what I have been doing.

November 16, Wednesday.
Normal day in the office. Had choir/christmas presentation practice after work.

November 17, Thursday.
Didn't go to work. Instead, went to an interview somewhere within Rockwell area. wink wink.
Had dinner with Titus. The food was expensive and bad--the worse combination.
Had coffee in Starbucks with TUs. Got my first 2 stickers for the planner.
Bought a knitwear in Zara.
At around 7-730 pm, Gen called and said that we have to rush something for an Account--the most gruelling and most demanding account. Best effort to submit on Monday..Uh-oh.

November 18, Friday.
Started the project for the demanding account in the morning.
Went to an implementation in Alabang.
Arrived in the office past 7 pm. Worked there til 10 pm.

November 19, Saturday.
Did the project for that account the whole day.
Went to Ayee's Bukas Palad Concert in Gesu. (with Titus, Tehnie, Nina, Justin)
There was a Bazaar there...so well, we pig-out.
We attended mass in Gesu before the concert.

November 20, SUnday.
Was in the office with Gen, Nina and Kathy.
Arrived at 9:30 am...left at 9:15 pm.
Pathetic. Sunday, working in the office.
Not complaining though. There are things needed to be done. It's part of my responsibility afterall.

November 21, Monday.
Still doing that account thing.
Left office early...that means 8 pm!
It's my Mom's birthday. We had dinner in Gerry's. I love the baked scallops.

November 22,Tuesday.
Did that account thing the whole day.
Went home at around 11 pm.

November 23, Wednesday.
Finished the account thing in the morning.
(includes, cutting and taping together planograms and worksheets)
Went to a meeting to present the work that we have been frantically doing for 60 hours (collectively) in a span of 4 days. The one-in-charge just scan through the last folder (didn't even bother looking at the other 2 folders), and gave us the go signal to implement in Pampanga that same night.
We ate at Yahoo in Metrowalk. Had some ice monster. Went back to the office and ate some (meaning, 'a lot of') Han Pao left over.
At around 7 pm, off we go to Pampanga.
Arrived there at 830. Ate at Kenny Rogers.
Started implementation at 930 pm.
Ended at around 230 am.
Arrived home at 4 am.

November 24, Thursday.
We're excused from work. (Well, we should be).
I got copies of my transcript of records in Ateneo (just in case, you know...). Attempted to get my diploma, but it wasn't ready yet.
Picked up my sister in Miriam.
Went home.
Went to a video editing place to have parts of harry potter ripped for our area plan presentation.

November 25, Friday.
Woke up at 3:30 am.
Boarded the 5 am bus to Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija, with Nina and Ate Arlene.
Arrived in NE at 8 am. Implemented Catman.
Ate delicious lunch in Vicentico's (sizzling squid, crispy pata, sisig, bulalo...absoulutely namnam).
Boarded the bus back to Manila.
Rode the MRT in North Ave going to Shaw (Shangrila).
Met Titus in Shangrila and had a fun night with him.

November 26, Saturday.
Had a meeting in the morning.
Ate Steak in "Everything at Steak" in Wilson Ave.
Did some photoshop projects in the afternoon.
Celebrated Shum's despidida party in the office. Ate lots of kaldereta,chicken lollipops, lumpia, and ice cream.

November 27, Sunday.
Woke up early to go to the "family day" in my dad's office.
Went to greenhills, ate in Superbowl, window shopped, went to Starbucks in Libis, went home.

November 28, Monday.
Went to Divisoria. Swam with the sea of people.

November 29, Tuesday.
Back in the office. Answered some email inquiries. Ate lunch in Cibo. Got dessert in Starbucks. Had choir practice. The guard lost my car keys. After 4 hours of searching they were found inside Celine's car.

November 30, Wednesday.
Back to a regular day. Blogging...
Will go to aquaventure meeting later.

I just realized that it's been a long time since I posted my Nel-isms (kabarokans and made-up words) on my blog. All my latest entries comprise of boring realization crap (growing up stuff and other ka-chorva-hans). Well, there's nothing exactly wrong with that, it's just that it seems the fun in Nel is slowly fading out. Nel is becoming a lonely boring person. How sad!

I'm trying to remember my latest senseless Nelisms. I know there are still some, because there are times when I talked to my friends in the office they just give me this "Wah?" expression, as if I'm speaking an alien language or something. Or they just reply to whatever I said with "O lasing ka nanaman". And when another officemate makes a senseless comment, the others will say, "O, na-ne-Nel ka na rin", as if Nel equals senselessness, which most of the time is true.

But I can't think of any Nel-isms right now.
And my supposed agenda for witing this post is to make a list of my Nel-isms.
But now I can't. Because I can't think of any.
So people, this is a useless post.

On a more serious note.
When will this quarter-life crisis end? (My pilosopo self will answer: "duh, e di kung di ka na asa quarter ng life mo...kung asa middle ka na, or malapit na mag-end"). But seriously, it's just been bothering me lately.

It's just that despite having everything I need and mostly everything I want, there's still this gap or emptiness that can't be filled.

Maybe life has been too easy, too uncomplicated, too "happy", that it has become boring.
Or maybe, I am pessimistic enough that I rather focus on finding that invisible gap or emptiness than being grateful of the wonderful things I have. Maybe I'm not that appreciative.
Or maybe, I know there's more I can do with my life right now that I'm not doing. That I'm selling myself short. That I'm not living to my fullest potential.

Hay! Buhay!

Long Weekend Number#1

Givens:
An extremely short attention span
A relatively long weekend
No plans whatsoever
Boyprend out of town

Result:
An extremely bitchy, bratinella, drama mode which drives the "boyprend out of town" guilt-crazy...(Heck, with all that drama I made, who wouldn't feel gulit-crazy...bwahahha)

Lesson learned:
A bratinella with a short attention span, who recurringly suffers a quarter-life crisis, can't be left at home for more than 3 days...

October 31 is "Ipagtabuyan ang girlfriend day"...(as coined by Isa)

Tus is in Batangas with his family.
Raf is in Laguna with his cousins.
Raf doesn't want Isa and me to come with them in Laguna.
(To quote Raf: "It's an all-cousins affair. Of course you can't come.) Hehehe...

O well...So I, Isa, and Aya went to Manila Southwoods to swim and eat dinner.

Sadly, we didn't have pictures to document the "Ipagtabuyan ang girlfriend day"...

Long Weekend Number#2
To make up for the boring previous long weekend, I made sure I have plans for this one.

November 3 (thursday): I had dinner with the Magic Seven girls. After a million changes in plans (with all things considered such as the budget, food, location, etc), we settled in dining in Mann Han in Megamall, then got some dessert in Seattle's best. Calison told her near-accident experience driving their CRV, which is not really shocking, knowing Calison and all.

Then, I bought a tent (with free picnic basket and earth mat)Why? La lang...Compulsive buying!

November 4 (friday): Off we go to Subic!
Left Ateneo at around 945 am...Arrived in Subic a little past 12...ate lunch at Wimpy's...then drove around to look for a place to stay. We stopped in almost all beach resort/hotel that we saw along the highway...then by 3 pm we settled in staying Arizona hotel, one of the first hotels we canvassed.

Went swimming.

Played billiards.

Ate some Shala dinner.

Got sick...

Now I'm back in the office. Bored.
